Hip, Hip, Horray!

by Bob Poole on November 16, 2012

I haven’t been around much because I went vacationing in the Caribbean, then did a lot of home remodeling, moved heavy boxes to install carpet and wood flooring and did all the manly man stuff that probably shouldn’t have been done, but I did it. I had a busy summer and kept promising myself I’d get back online, then I stepped on a piece of pottery as I stepped out a door and took a flying leap that put too much weight on my leg and hip resulting in 24/7 serious pain and now I’m looking at hip replacement surgery. That will probably get me back online since I’m not able to keep up the pace I kept up all summer, but at least it means that in between pain pills I’ll be blogging and doing a little bit more than you’ve seen the last six months.

Surgery is scheduled for December 19th. Between now and then, I have to do a bunch of pre-op stuff. The good news is I probably only need the hip replaced. At one point, they thought it was both my hip and knee.

So, that’s my story. Pain has a way of taking up your time so I’m looking forward to getting back to normal. Well, as normal as I’ve ever been.

How are you doing? How are your sales numbers looking for the end of the year? How can I help you hit 2013 in full stride so that next year is your best ever sales year?

Good to have you back, Bob. Get as strong as you can now in your upper body – you’ll be so glad after the hip replacement. Wishing you well….

Elaine – thank you! I plan on losing as much weight as possible during that time without sacrificing pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving, of course.
