Make an Impresssion – Not a Quota.

People don’t care if 1,000 of your customers are satisfied with your service, product, software or widget if they’re not satisfied. They don’t care about your ads, your branding, your following, your fans, or your media coverage. They don’t care if no one else has ever experienced the issues and problems they’re having with your product or service. They care about one thing and one experience–theirs.

This is a good thing. It means you don’t have to think about all the people who aren’t having problems or concerns. You only have to focus on the one who is. Let this freedom of only having to listen, commiserate, understand and work with one person (or company, or product) inspire you to relax, focus and solve their issue.

Not only will you make a better impression, you’ll create a better customer.

Nobody counts the number of ads you run; they just remember the impression you make.
