A Bit About Monique and Dragon Digital Marketing
Many digital marketing agencies focus on intrusive mass marketing strategies, like sending out unsolicited direct messages and emails to a cold, unsegmented audience and relying heavily on advertising. Dragon Digital Marketing is different because they don’t believe in being spammy and salsey. Monique believes in raising awareness for small businesses by making them stand out. She achieves this with personalized and targeted content that attracts the right people organically because it provides value by answering questions and solving problems. They give small businesses strategic marketing plans to publish and promote content across many different digital marketing channels.
How Monique Finds Clients during COVID Pandemic
Monique loves working with small businesses because of the personal connection. “I love working with small business owners to have that personal contact. You get to see that you’re making a greater impact.”
She has pivoted her business marketing since the pandemic. “I’ve created a lot of content and focused on inbound marketing. I’m present everywhere and create content that will attract my target clients.”
There’s a significant need for companies to focus their marketing on online advertising and having a presence on the web. “Many companies have a digital platform that they’ve been neglecting, and we are working with them to improve it.”
How COVID has Changed Consumer Buying Behavior
Monique talks about consumers and how we have become more empowered when shopping. “They can be more engaged, share, and leave their reviews. This can influence new customers. Especially in the pandemic, people are more willing to experiment, try new brands and buy from smaller businesses.” She explains how in this new age of consumerism that being in the right place at the right time is a great way to find new clients during the pandemic.
