Stop Multi-Tasking

Studies have shown that multi-tasking hurts us more than it helps. When we try to do more than two things at once we divide our attention, our focus and our ability to sell. For instance, we can go to lunch and talk business, or we can go to lunch and THEN talk business. Which do you think would be more productive? Focusing on the client as a person, building a relationship and then talking business? Or trying to do both at once?

There’s a difference. It’s subtle, but powerful. Think about it.
