Use an Invitation, Not a Push

There’s a time and a place for everything, but in general, no one likes to be pressured or feel pressured to buy. Customers who fear a high-pressure presentation or pitch will often cancel an appointment, or just not return your call. Deliver a great presentation, solve their problems, answer their questions and then put control of the timing of their decision in their hands. Chances are you’ll make your case and the sale. Plus, you’ll be talking to someone who doesn’t come into the presentation defensive and ready to say “no,” right off the bat.

Don’t push people to buy. Show them the opportunity they have and invite them to buy.
